About the event
Melissa Wolfgang Amenc, director of Golay Fils & Stahl, is a sixth-generation gem and jewellery expert. She works closely with private clients to source exceptional gemstones, creates bespoke pieces blending timeless craftsmanship with a contemporary vision, and strives to make every jewellery journey a personal one.
After earning her Graduate Gemologist diploma in 1996, Melissa began her career at Christie’s jewellery department and later worked for de Grisogono, overseeing gemstone acquisitions before joining her family business, Golay Fils & Stahl, in 2001.
Beyond her professional expertise, Melissa is deeply involved in shaping the future of the industry. She serves on international boards and committees dedicated to ethical standards and innovation. Melissa also co-founded The Glitterati, a non-profit association uniting women in jewellery to share knowledge, support, and inspiration and mentor the next generation.
